Controle em Foco: Revista MPC-MG

About the Journal

The magazine of the Public Prosecution Office of Accounts of the State of Minas Gerais, named Controle em Foco: Revista do MPC-MG with a semiannual periodicity, was created by Resolution No. 17/2020, published in the Official Gazette of Accounts on November 4, 2020. Its objective is the production and dissemination of knowledge related to the control of public administration, encompassing the following fields of knowledge: Public Law, Philosophy of Law, General Theory of Law, Political Science, Legal Sociology, Public Administration, Public Accounting, and Economic Sciences.

The magazine's target audience includes members of the Public Prosecution Offices, Courts of Accounts, and Judiciary throughout Brazil, as well as employees of these institutions, public managers, public servants in general, lawyers, and members of the academic community.

The journal is structured into three sections with distinct formats. The first section, titled "Opinion Articles," consists of articles written by MPC-MG prosecutors, individually or in co-authorship, on current and relevant topics for external control. The second section, "Commented Jurisprudence Articles," analyzes rulings that represent highly relevant issues and have an impact on the controlling sphere. Finally, the third section is dedicated to "Scientific Articles," in which each author delves deeper into technical, legal, and scientific topics relevant to control.
